I see these signs in Kingston and I finally remembered to visit the .com.

I'm sad it hasn't gotten more attention!

"Drive like your children live here"

I choose to believe that everyone follows that when they see it, and I'll leave it up to y'all what that means.

so do we hate or love children?
I asked that myself but I'm over it because of the A+ effort

There is also a lot more issues than just speed signs I see here but speed warning sign is a good start. We have one in Millstone and I see drivers check their speed.

I always chuckle when i see those signs. I guess these people have not seen the burnout marks in front of my house where my children live.

On my way to work there's a busy road with a 25mph speed limit and houses on both sides. If you go <30mph people will start to pass you over the double yellow. It infuriates me.
There is a "cut through" street that one of my friends lives on and they have elementary age kids. They have the whole deal, cop sits at the end, speed humps, signs, special stripping and people still speed. They hide behind cars and roll soccer balls in the street to hit cars and have chased cars to the next stop sign to confront them on more than one occasion. Seems like a lot of time spent o something that will likely never change.

I honestly don't see it much near me. Are people less shitty drivers in Morris County?
Absolutely not, I have seen one person hit at the crosswalk by Tito’s, and have been passed while I was waiting for a pedestrian in the crosswalk there a bunch of times. I am always terrified that I am going to see someone get squished over there.
shitty drivers everywhere.
‘I can never tell if they are clueless, or just assholes. But lots of awful drivers in morris county.

I know two people hit in that intersection. I wouldn't even say it's bad driving there as it's a horrible intersection. Morristown is pretty bad if you don't know the roads especially right there because it's hard to even know there's a crosswalk and with traffic stopped you don't see someone walking. Same issue with the intersection @ flagler & the one at the train station. It's a design issue as there's no light or easy to see indication that there's a crosswalk and other cars block you from seeing pedestrians.

I see people nearly hit in the crosswalks elsewhere like at Pine St but I chalk a lot of that up to people completely unaware of crosswalks. 99% of the time the driver is looking ahead.

It's not like we have no assholes, but when I drive in other areas...holy crap. Every time I go to central/south NJ I want to shoot people.

You're right, it is tough to see the pedestrians, with the other cars blocking the way. the person I saw got really fucked up, they needed an ambulance. It was about 6-7 years ago.
That crosswalk over by dominoes is a disaster, I never know what to do, sometimes that light is flashing and there is nobody in the crosswalk, and sometimes its not flashing and there are people, it was better without the light.

I had to check a few videos to make sure I wasn't on there.

I know that whole intersection sucks. PJs and the other shops are 5ft from the curbline. Visibility sucks and the truck drivers trying to deliver don't know any better. They are a slave to the GPS or the directions they are provided.

I've been watching the renovation work on that house over the last year +. That person also has a 25ft inflatable reindeer in their yard now. Will have to get picture.
