I just recently built my first wheel, to replace my old crossmax Sl because it has seen far too much abuse.

I built up a White powdercaot Stans Flow 26 :getsome::getsome:
with black Dt straight 14 gauge spokes
and a black Xt 6 bolt hub
alternating red and blue nipples

I hope it lasts is was definitely a fun process and I learned a lot in the process, I like doing stuff hands on and it didn't take that long either

Special thanks to Gary at BikeNGear for the help and parts

So how long did it take you to build that sweet wheel? I would love to build some wheels. I love tasks that are tedious and precise. I think I would need to work on an old set so I don't whing new $$$ stuff out the window when I F@&$ it all up to hell.
Nice jorb!

I built up a set of hope wheels a while back and they lasted a long time of abuse. They got sold with my bike. I'm OCD with my wheel building...I tension each spoke evenly and then correct and blips. Needless to say I dont forward to doing it again. Trueing wheels up is a useful skill, and it looks like your build came out well congrats.

Nice wheel man! I saw this rim when it was still in the womb. I like how you have dressed it up and keep it warm with a fleece jacket.

took me about 4-5 hours but I didnt rush the tv was on the whole time and I ate dinner, I always keep my wheels wrapped in a northface
