MTB Power Meter

I'm not sure if the value brings training returns. I notice some Cat 1 guys have, I looked at @UtahJoe Wawaynada power, but it looks like chicken scratches all over the place. Not sure if any value can be extracted of it.

Anyone knows if MTB Power Meter Info can be used to improve training or it will be hard to take the value out of it ?

If you use the mtb on the road to do intervals... Then yes. Which I do on occasion. As far as data from a ride or race on the dirt...eh.. Not really. I get an idea of time in zones, cp1-5...but nothing overly useful. Especially since my road has a power tap and my mtb has a stages... Power numbers aren't the same

Since I do most of my intervals on Zwift or on the road bike, it looks like the money will be better invested if I put it towards a MTB trip.

Thank you
