Mtb bike for my girl friend

Need a women's bike for my girl friend she's 5 foot (lol) I don't really know the sizing on women bikes..she's brand new to the sport not looking for anything crazy..but something that will last..thanks

I have a Giant Revel 29er that I just got in May. Spent about $550. So far I am loving it. Haven't had the luxury to upgrade any components yet but I am really satisfied with it regardless. I am 5' as well and my frame is a small. I find it very comfortable. Good luck!

I didn't have a women's specific bike, but my Gary Fisher HI-FI Deluxe 29er was a 15"/small. I am 5' 2" and just cleared the standover. I think the Motobecane 29er I have now is a "Small" too.

I would bring her in and have her stand over/try it to make sure it fits.
