I think there's a .5 degree difference in head tube anglePardon my outdated ignorance, but isn't a gravel bike a cross bike? Still riding, road and off, paved and single track, 2005 Fuji Cross Pro. View attachment 229993

I thought a "gravel" bike was just a 90s XC bike with drop bars?Pardon my outdated ignorance, but isn't a gravel bike a cross bike? Still riding, road and off, paved and single track, 2005 Fuji Cross Pro. View attachment 229993
No way dude! A gravel bike is a drop bar mountain bike and a cx is a road bike with mountain bike tires!Pardon my outdated ignorance, but isn't a gravel bike a cross bike? Still riding, road and off, paved and single track, 2005 Fuji Cross Pro. View attachment 229993

Be honest though. Most companies offer two gravel bikes now. A wide tire capable adventure/burrly style and a smaller tire light/stiff/aero version.Except for the tire clearance and ridiculously stiff frames on CX bikes. A SuperSix was more comfortable off-road than the CX9 back in those days.

Don't forget the wider inner triangle for over the shoulder carries! 😆And the bb is .25” lower.
I was going to say that but didn't want to trigger anyone.Oil slick.

Triple threat of over hype:
1. Cranks that look like these
2. Oval chain rings
3. Fancy flat pedals
It would work fine for CX since you're just running with the bike on your shoulder.Do we have to fix it before we take it?

As someone who owns and has purchased club ride button up shirts for the team, I may have to actually agree... Club ride brand specifically, tho, as I do like flannels and stuff for casual riding.Club ride button up shirts
I should clarify, that it was the short sleeve versions that I was referencing. As someone who owns and has purchased club ride button up shirts for the team, I may have to actually agree... Club ride brand specifically, tho, as I do like flannels and stuff for casual riding.
