Mild Infuriations

The Moped
Four pairs of Darn Tough socks of the same color.
I put these socks on my Christmas wish years ago so my mom buys me a pair every year.
#1 black heals and toes
#2 I consider standard
#3 is for whatever reason 1 inch longer height than the other three
#4 grey band on top.
There is only ever one of each in my drawer.

Well first dealing with paper in 2018
Who designed this layout? Every section is a different form type.
The second page was a 10x10 graph where you put an X in the appropriate overly large box. Forgot to snap a pic.
Print name.
Circle one of five
Check between parentheses
Circle scale of 1-10
Check this time in a box

Maybe @capedoc also enjoys design gore.

Are you wearing them mismatched then?

Washing tips: fold the tops of the socks over each other when you throw them into the laundry basket/hamper so they stay together and aren't just getting separated because of large loads.

Or wash them in a lingerie bag so that they always stay together.

I love doing laundry BTW... but no, I won't do yours.

Mild infuriation:

When men try to turn an innocent comment into a battle of the sexes.

;P
Wow
Now I know not to comment on real life with millianals because it becomes sexist.
Sorry
Don't worry I own a pair too.

Didn't you see the winky face?!

And I'm soooo not a millennial... But thanks for the compliment!

So what age range is now considered Millennial anyhow?

I would think Millennial=Millennium. Born around 2000, or of-age in 2000? Either way, it doesn't seem to match up to what people refer to as Millennials. A 30 year old was 12 in 2000.

Nevermind, looked it up.

There are no precise dates for when this cohort starts or ends; demographers and researchers typically use the early 1980s as starting birth years and the mid-1990s to early 2000s as ending birth years.

This is a dumb and wide range. And it should just be called generation Y. Except for the fact that early 1980s puts them in post-internet. I'm squarely in the last age of knowing what life was like before the internet being born in 79.

So @1sh0t1b33r is a millenial.

So, is there an alternate universe where the socks mate resides alone? What would occur should they ever be reunited?

refers to formative years being around the change of the century....
truly the last battlefield.

@Santapez why is @MissJR not doing your laundry?
@MissJR why are you not doing @Santapez laundry?
He's a grown man who does his own laundry. What's the big deal?

I have heard of other couples doing this, I can’t imagine what would happen when I do wash and I was like, nope, not putting you stuff or the kids stuff in.

It's just the two of us, but if there were kids' stuff, don't worry... I'd do their laundry (until they were old enough to do their own and help out). And it's not like I'm all "your clothes shall never touch mine!"... I'm just really picky about doing my laundry and I have a lot of clothes so it's full loads anyway... Clothes like sports stuff that we don't want sitting too long usually all get washed together. Steve's also really picky about detergent (fragrance and dye free) and, if I accidentally grab the wrong kind, I'll use the scented stuff for myself since I'm not as picky.
