Thought it would be good to have one spot for 1st's, pics and vids that showed off the park.

I had the week off and had today checked off as a date with the wife. It has been almost exactly 13 yrs since Patty has been on a DH bike. I couldn't believe how well she rode today stayed green and blue for most but did venture out in the expert stuff on a bunch where we both fluffed a bit but still had a great time. My girl can still rip and find the lines...

hhahahah whippp itttt !!!!! Looking better ramon

Thanks man. For anyone trying to quickly get comfortable jumping, the bag jump is the absolute best tool available. I was certainly squid-tastic in the beginning of this season, but lately I've been trying to throw down bigger whips down dominion and I think the bag jump has a lot to do with that.

I guess i can contribute a little bit here, too bad my season ended early from my crash.. Heres a few of me and some of the people on the boards here. Good times as usual ! Have more footage saved but im too lazy to edit right now . Cant wait to be back at it again next year tho !

Ahh man, if only you kept your bars straight, you could have possibly stayed on your bike. Sucks man.

Some great stuff here guys, I gotta spend some time hitting the bag to get comfortable with large air.

bite trigger?! That is pretty awesome. Please share how that is set up. No swallow hazard?

You are throwing down!

I have a short write-up here: http://ramondompor.com/the-bite-trigger/

It's pretty much a remote release for my DSLR that I spliced with a monophone jack so I can plug into a pocketwizard wireless transceiver. I use it to trigger a tripod mounted camera that I spend some time setting up, and I can have some off-camera flash too. The trigger itself is held in place between my teeth. I soldered some detents onto it so it won't slide or move around so the risk of choking on it is pretty low. Worked great for its first time out!

Should mention tho that it took one or two tries to get timing right. It's surprisingly hard to focus on jumping and biting at the same time.

Great to hear!

nice videos and pictures, they make me want to check it out as a lot of it does not seem to be out of my league (the drop offs are not going to happen) plus would give me another place to push my bike beyond its designated purpose.

where you the guy taking shots up at the bottom of alpine saturday afternoon?

you can't set it up to take time lapse shots?

I do applaud you though

Haha I could set up a time lapse, but that's just spray-and-pray and isn't as elegant as capturing a decisive moment. That said, I'm now thinking about rigging up a motion sensor trigger that'll fire as I ride past. No more timing problems! :D

Here's a shot from this past Wednesday.

As you can see, I'm also having issues with picking a spot to prefocus on, hitting that spot and biting at the moment I hit it.
