we actually have several spots open (if you're a developer and want to move to either Austin or Denver let me know) but the spot(s) that i'm looking for in particular are sales. here are the deets:

-MUST have the following: digital ad experience, media experience, be passionate about fitness.

-about 3-5 years calling on agencies from BOS to FLA (exact territory still TBD)

-be willing to entertain. a lot

position will be....wait for it...work from HOME.

so yeah, i know you all love strava, blah, blah, blah, but they aren't hiring. and they don't make any money. we do. like, a lot.

if you're interested PM me and we'll talk. you're literally the first people to know about this.

just gonna refresh this. if you know anyone or are interested yourself, please let me know.

Very interested, but I don't have the Ad/Ad Sales experience. Looking for a career change.

i'd love to be able to put you in front of my boss and if this were a different position, i would. we really need someone that has a few years of experience though.

Jake, I completely understand and agree with your feelings. I run a large commercial landscape company with close to 200 employees throughout the tri-state area; my point is that I would do the same as you.

I have zero experience in ad sales, so I would be a huge stretch.

No worries my friend.

actually, help ME out

we connected on LinkedIn, isn't that enough? 🙂 now if you wanted to move to, say denver or austin that may be a different story.

trust me reg, i get it. i wish there was more i could do but we run a very lean sales team and right now there just isn't budget (or time) to on-board someone with no experience...despite the fact that you're way qualified to run a pretty large organization from a logistical standpoint.

i was in advertising HELL for eight years working fringe start-ups submitting anywhere and everywhere to get into digital & mobile. i got a "break" when a buddy of mine introduced me to the founder of my last company, Tabbedout, a mobile payments company. i consulted with them on the side for 11 months before they finally hired me on...then subsequently let me go (coincidently, about 11 months later) in a re-org. that was my jumping off point to MapMyFitness which is technically another start-up but wayyyyy further along.
