Loved the Jungle...

Planned my first ever JH ride between 9 and 10am this morning, which turned into an 11am start time...anyway..I ended up meeting JimN at the entrance, who was kind enough to give me a tour....That place rips! I absolutely loved it! who ever is responsible for the trail building and maintenance there is doing a fine job! Kudos!! There is nothing like riding purpose-built trails that make the place feel more like a bike park than just some trails in a local/county/state park!

That place is ROCKY! I love tech trails like JH that test your rock riding abilities and make you want to push yourself harder...:getsome:

again....JimN...thanks for the tour! and I will def. be back up there at some point..prob with a pair of knee guards to keep the caps intact!!

😀😀😀😀😀

Great post and I agree with it all - I'll be there tomorrow morning at 6: 30 .
Can't wait for my second trip of the year to the Jungle

I'm glad you like the jungle. Like you i loved the jungle. If you want more rocks go to ringwood it's just a few minutes away

Did Jim take you on Rhino?
Jim...?

No. Brian was a little pressed for time so we skipped it. Gotta save something for next time anyway.

again....JimN...thanks for the tour! and I will def. be back up there at some point..prob with a pair of knee guards to keep the caps intact!!

Glad you enjoyed it; Jungle is one of my favorite places to ride. Today was an interesting experience, but I'll probably go back to using my full suspension there next time.

those in there were done by the guys at town cycle. they do an awesome job of doing trail maintenance and maybe have built one of the best trail systems in jersey.

Wait Mergs is working at Town Cycle now?

JORBA along with help from the Town Cycle guys & others made JH the great place it it. Bonus is there's a lot more to come.

I need to get up there & ride , soon!

lmao it says im in cat2 50+ for some reason.

I can say being one of the members of the JH trail dig team that it is a strong effort from multiple people that give their time up to make a trail system that is not only good for them, but good for the entire community of bikers as a whole. I ride those trails proudly every time now knowing I put my sweat, even blood, :getsome: into making them along with the others who help. I encourage anyone who has an urge to get out and help. we have a great set of people in the woods making these trails. hell you even get pay dirt points.. whats not to loose 😀

Jorba designs the trails and organizes the work days in Jungle. Here is a list of volunteers from last year:

Better yet, come out and help any Tuesday and thank them yourself. 🙂
