this is what came with it new..specialized Format, hollow Cr-Mo rails, SL foam, S/M: 130mm L/XXL:143mm
i ride 50/50 road and trails. and weight 270..
i am looking for a more comfortable one any suggestions?

The most comfy saddle I've ever had in my entire biking life is a Serfas Performance Rx. I have one on my mtb and I'd put one on my road bike too, but I can't seem to get myself to do it from a "sleek & aesthetics" point-of-view (yeah, sad, isn't it?).

Keep in mind as you read replies to this thread, saddles are one of those things where one man's treasure is another man's trash...

Brooks Flyer Special... I have one on my Fargo... it's sprung, it's heavy, it's awesome....
Other logical choice... Brooks B17... Once broken in, I can't think of a more comfortable seat on the planet... (I have a slight bias, though... that's all I ride)...

Peace,
BB

What are you doing with your current seat ?

How long have you been riding?
If you are fairly new to cycling there certainly is a bit of a getting to know you period that your butt and saddle will go through. No ass out hugs here. 🙄

Are you wearing cycling shorts with a chamois? Whether you wear them underneath a pair of baggies or not these are must. You will be happy you did.

Second ArmyofNone. After that:

Saddles are highly individual. What one person loves others will hate. Since you bought a Specialized, have your dealer measure your butt bones (whatever they're called). Yes, they actually have a mat you sit on and make an imprint. Don't be fooled into thinking wider is more comfortable.

that MTB V saddle looks pretty nice. comfy and still fairly narrow.

i've been rockin the same slim Specialized MTB saddle for 2 years now. still looks new and doesn't hurt my sit bones at all but that might be because i'm standing up more than i'm sitting down on it.

even my road saddle is a nice teeny Selle which i'm sitting on MUCH more than standing over and it doesn't bother me and i'm about 210 lbs. i think the secret is in a good chamois.

good luck with the new MTB and invest in decent shorts/baggies, whatever floats your boat.
