wait - is it to put the rack on, or take it off? i don't think the demand curves are symmetric....

i could measure it (i've already lost one)

Not what I think of McMaster. If I order by 11am it's at my door by 3pm for like $4 delivery charge. Most amazing company ever. I can buy a bicycle, cutting fluid and cleaning supplies and they arrive almost immediately. It's like amazon but awesomer.

So for $8.77 I can buy a tool that magically gets me all the 1-up racks i want?

you'd also need to cut the lock off before loosening the jamb nut....at least on mine.
