I am selling a custom built Jamis Dakar BAM 2. The frame is a 2008 model year that was purchased on close-out in January of 2010. The frame has actually never been ridden on a mountain - it has been ridden on the streets for a few brief moments, but I have not been downhill riding in 2 years, so its time for it to go.
Again, the frame is a 2008 Jamis Dakar BAM 2, in the large size 19.5". It has the stock BAM mp3 suspension platform, 1.5 head tube, 150mm x 12mm Maxle axle, 83mm BB shell, FOX DHX 5.0 coil, 180mm travel.
Fork: Rock Shox Domain 318, 180mm with a heavy duty spring in place - stock spring also included in sale.
The wheels, tires, brakes, cranks, etc. are off of my old 2007 Jamis Diablo 1.0 that I had purchased brandnew.
Wheels: WTB Laser Disc Super Duty, with eyeletted spoke holes
Brakes: Hayes HFX-9HD with 8" rotors
Sram X-7 9 speed, 11-34T
ODI Rogue lock on grips
WTB Laser V camo saddle
Maxxis High Roller tires 2.7" front, 2.5" rear - spare inner tubes included with sale
E 13 bash guard and chain guide system installed
I am asking $1850, or best offer. I am willing to meet a buyer within a certain mileage for sale. No pedals with be included in the sale. Again, this bike has never really been ridden. The fork only did one season of use, and was not abused either. The bike is in like new shape. You won't be disappointed.
