I’m riding in my company’s warehouse replacing the network infrastructure but it’s not open to public, so…It will cost less than a Walmart bike after I'm done. Where we riding next weekend?

Still looking for a Ringwood ride leader in the coming weeksI’m riding in my company’s warehouse replacing the network infrastructure but it’s not open to public, so…
If the schedule works, I can lead a ride. Since this is in the Walmart thread does it mean I need to be riding one too?Still looking for a Ringwood ride leader in the coming weeks
I have sanded a 27.2 dropper down to 26.8 for my vintage Iron Horse with a mini belt sander.Rolling chassis
That 30.4 seatpost diameter will be a problem. But don't plan to ream the seat tube.View attachment 236153
Yep, thinking that may work. Was it hard keeping it round? A dropper may be an issue with wall thickness, but you only live once...I have sanded a 27.2 dropper down to 26.8 for my vintage Iron Horse with a mini belt sander.

Nope. Just turned it as I went. Bought a cheap used one so if it didn't work I wasn't out much cash.Yep, thinking that may work. Was it hard keeping it round? A dropper may be an issue with wall thickness, but you only live once...
There's tubes in your frame with thinner wall thickness in places once your done sanding.I cried a little reading this post…
You should see the guy on YT reaming out 0.5mm on his seat tube to fit a 30.9 dropper. That made me cringe moreI cried a little reading this post…
Nice! It's coming up good, looking forward to see the finished build. What all stuff you upgrading?Rolling chassis

That's probably the best option if you can find, or make, a shim that takes up the slack.Nice! It's coming up good, looking forward to see the finished build. What all stuff you upgrading?
Damn that front suspension might be more than what you paid for the bike.
You can just get a 27.2 dropper and use shims to make it fit. Why are you complicating it?
I don't have a 27.2 dropper. But that's probably the better option. Only keeping the frame. Nothing special on the fork, it's a Reba RL. Other interesting bits are XTR drivetrain and DT 240/Stans wheels.Nice! It's coming up good, looking forward to see the finished build. What all stuff you upgrading?
