A lot of them do, but I’d bet the barn drop bars are more aeroObviously all the talk is around drop bars, but I'm surprised that there aren't more riders doing something along these lines for long MTB events:

I'd agree, but can also understand not wanting to ride some of the descents on drop bars or mess with the bike geo to get them to work.A lot of them do, but I’d bet the barn drop bars are more aero

Watching endurance anything is literally impossibleShe is on another level as an interviewee too. That was a fantastic listen. The rest of the grand Prix (Keegan included) is about as interesting as a cardboard cutout.
It’s a silly position, but she won so it doesn’t matter. They spent a lot of time talking about how low she gets like that. Way lower than drops. She used it a ton today. Anything tougher than the champagne stuff though, and she had to get to the bars.
The Adam Craig trick. Not only did she win….lol, but destroyed the field and the course record. World Cup athletes are built different I guess.
I know of 2 MASS series racers that did it. Guy from Wilmington, DE did it on a SS, just a few minutes over 12hrs. The other guy from Bucks Co has been doing some Leadville Challenge that includes riding and running. He was 50-59 age group and also finished a few minutes over 12hrs.A friend of mine competed in this yesterday super strong rider with a day job still took him 10 hours but still an amazing accomplishment
