Years ago we would start and end our Allamuchy rides at the school near the general store, and post ride stop in to chow down at the seated tables.
So one ride, I forgot to fill my camelback at home, did not realize until we were near the store. I asked the store owner if he could fill my pack with tap water. "nope your have to buy water" I said don't have cash with me now, can you just fill it? "nope he said".
Since then I have boycotted that store, and we do not hang out there post ride.
Really you won't fill a container with tap water?

At least no one was hurt! but there was a time I felt like this!
