Jamesburg Park, Pigeon Swamp State Park & Ireland Brook County Park

Note for next round - either make a conscious effort to take pictures or invite someone that has a natural instinct to capture the moments.

Thanks for sharing Robert

First off, quit picking on cousin Rob.

Second, how many time are you going to change your avatar in one week?

Heck, even Pearl lets them sink in before he freshen it up. 🙂

OH SHIT! I just reread what I wrote... That definately came off wrong...

I appreciate Rob sharing that with the forum!!!! TRULY.. I wasn't picking on him, even though it looked like a direct hit.. SORRY!!! LOL

I meant - the next time we go out, we could take more pics and vids and stuff. I suck at that... Do we know any riders who would be willing come with us and take some good pics...

AVATAR - I was having fun with MS Paint yesterday. Yesterday was my rest day and I go nutty when I don't work out...

must be the "racer" in you-

Yeh, I kind of figured that. 😉

I have to say, I was chastising myself for not doing just that. I keep playing the image of the Fatbike emerging from the water filled tunnel, just before going over the ledge. Man that would have been a cool shot.

Lessons learned......

This is a good place for people who live in the area. I grew up riding these on an ATC and now that I MTB its just as good to keep you honest. Not a nice and easy ride. Good for endurance rides

Second Annual MBM's Ride Down Memory Lane

I'm planning another group ride @ Jamesburg Park. I'm still nailing down which weekend it will be to avoid conflicts with Cathedral Pines and some of my closest friend's schedules. I'm thinking either the weekend of 11/22 or 11/28. Not sure which day yet.

We will have a new starting location off Cranbury Rd in East Brunswick instead of my grandfather's driveway - He's old and cranky so we'll start in a location that is friendlier for folks coming from far away. We will start from the Dunkin' Donuts parking lot at the corner of Davidson Mill Rd and Cranbury Rd. The loop will be 10 miles roughly very casual no drop pace. Just a nice day out in the woods with good company. I would also consider another 10 mile HAMMER loop following the first 10 mile if anyone is interested or we could venture over to the Turnpike tunnel and MX park off Church Lane (Ireland Brook Conservation Area) for some extracurricular silliness. Unlike last year, I know the quick and easy way to get there - No more trekking through the mud and thorn bushes.

As we get closer to the actual ride weekend, I'll post more details.

I hope you can come out and have fun with us!

More details to follow

Like we talked about this weekend, the 29th may be best with the hunting that is done on this land..

Agreed - Targeting 11/29. Sundays are no hunt days. Those woods are usually packed with hunters on Saturday. Worst thing I'd want to do is lead a train of loud mountain bikers all through the woods pushing deer away from hunters. They have guns and camo!

11/29 8am for 10 mile no drop casual loop.

Possibility of a 7am Hammer 10 mile loop

We will start from the Dunkin' Donuts parking lot at the corner of Davidson Mill Rd and Cranbury Rd.
