Is this an over 50 thing? I just turned 47 and I can't say mortality enters my mind much.It's something I could probably talk about every other day. Not sure it's a fun subject but I guess it's something many of us think about given our "over the hill" path we're on. I would say not a day goes by that I don't think about it in some way. Maybe I'll talk about it in a future post.
And yeah, fuck work. Eventually I'll figure out what I want to be when I grow up.
While not mortality, but more in the vein of getting older, one thing @ChrisG said a long time ago in relation to someone's training thread is noting that they are still on the upswing. I have crappy gauges for performance as i don't use HRM or power, but I have notice changes in perceived efforts and the resulting result. I also think of the Joe Paterno quote if you're not getting better you're getting worse.
When does that tide turn?
