Jake's Branch County Park

I went out yesterday for a quick spin to Jake's Branch. I heard from a few guys that it was a nice easy loop (about 4 miles) so I thought I would give it a try.

While a chubby guy like me could pull it off single-speed, I was surprised at how nice the trail is. There are several fun moments along the ride. I live pretty close it it, so I ride to the park, do the loop in both directions and then ride home for a nice 14 mile ride.

If you're anywhere close to the Toms River/Beachwood area, its a good place to get a quick ride in. I wouldn't drive too far for it though.

Anyone else ride here?
 
As stated, Jakes is good for a "quick hit" if your close. We also XC ski there as the park is very under used.
