I fashion my crown from Quetzlcoatl’s quills

My dad has a Rigid one I think it's 100', but he keeps it at the store in the Bronx. I can ask him to bring it tomorrow, but you'll have to return it I suspect by Sunday evening to my house. Also, I will not be home so you will have to say hi to my parents and we know your track record with Asian ladies.

it's going to go into a drain pipe, possibly containing poop. is that okay? I think it's not a poop pipe but you know.
I'm not home this weekend. One day early next week would be awesome.

I will ask tonight, but I am gone all next week, so you will have to pickup/dropoff with my parents. Also be prepared he might say no.

It's only $45 to rent one for an afternoon. Not a big deal really. Especially if it's all the way in the Bronx.

You can pickup/dropoff in Fort Lee. Don't expect you to go to the Bronx. But still it may be more convenient to rent w/ all the driving and coordinating. I will ask anyway to see what he says.

Why wouldn’t my neighbor have one? I just have to ask. Man he’s got everything. Complete with notes about his own home. Long instructions on how to clean and lube it before I give it back. He’s anal, but he’s on his 2nd lawnmower in 45 years. So….

What a mess.
Couldn't get the head past the shower trap. Or into the sink at the 2" coupling where it goes into the wall.
Pulled the cable all the way out. Put it back in backwards so just the cable end is at the new front. Bent it a bit.. Holy shit what a workout getting all 50ft down the drain. Last 10 ft were real hard. Had to spin it backwards to get the first 20ft out. Then pulled it out. Nothing really came out.
When all 50ft were in there I checked the septic tank and there was no snake coming out of the inlet. I must have a gray water tank. Now I have to figure out where the hell it is. Ugh.
After I got the snake out I poured in the draino crystals and some water and am letting it sit. Hope this helps. I'm too afraid of it not draining to test it.
Man.
I'll give it another 15 min and go check.
 
Not fixed. Fuck.
I did find a clean out in the basement!
Reversed the cable back to normal. Put a spring tip on it and ran it through. Was able to pull it out by hand.
Huge mess.
Now it drain 20% faster. So it did SOMETHING.
I'll put the big cutter bit on tomorrow and try again.
I felt some resistance at about 40ft in.
It's absolutely a greywater system. I have no damn clue where it is though. Tried some digging and probing. Nothing so far.
 
Can you see a brown spot in your lawn in a rectangle. If you have a concrete pit under ground the grass growing over it will turn brown in the summer months.

My septic tank is behind my house where no grass grows. I would imagine that the other tank is nearby. The drawings from 1959 show this other tank as being made from brick and the top of it is only maybe 4 foot round.
I tried prodding in a straight line even with the house starting at the septic lids. Might have to prod deaper though. It's likely that it hasn't been opened in 60 years.
Or it's nowhere newer there.
50ft of cable gets me almost to the front yard.
Ugh
