How to become certified to teach MTN Bike Clinics?

I don't know much about this, but I assume people go through USA Cycling?

I know Mare is a certified skills coach, so maybe she has more insight.

Allygadget (Sheryl from MudChix) has skills coach in her signature, so maybe you should shoot her a message too. She might be able to steer you in the right direction as well.

IMBA has a program to certify you as a coach. I am going for my level 2 certification in the beginning of June. I am super duper excited and cannot wait to add this to my resume. Taking some clinics with a certified coach is a great way to get a taste for the types of things you can get certified with and learn to teach! I am going to be hosting/coaching a clinic with Kathi K this summer so you are welcome to attend :).

I think that would be great to get a certification as well. I'll have to see if I can fit it j to my schedule...
 
Thanks for the insight...I see/found IMBA has a clinic to certifie at Mountain Creek in NJ. I'd love to attend a clinic first just to get a idea how ones run and what is taught...Thanks again for the invite...I definately want to attend.
