Going camping at Spruce Run Reservoir with a bunch of people that don't mountain bike so I thought I'd look for a hiking trail in the area. I've never ridden Round Valley's trails, but understand that it's a one way in-one way out sort of trail. According to the Round Valley state park site, the trail is 9 miles, which would mean an 18 mile round trip. Are there any shorter routes to hike? Or maybe are there some more hiker-friendly trails in the area?
