Hey everyone! I'm Chris and I'm new to mtbnj. I was wondering if there would be any group rides in central new jersey any time soon. Thanks!

Welcome aboard... the beginner rides should be starting either this Tuesday or next depending on the weather. These start at 6pm we meet at the hospital road lot normally ride for about an hour or so. This is a "as fast as the slowest let's have fun" ride keep an eye out to the Allaire thread, I will post up there if we are on for this week...

I'm more of an intermediate rider, so I was wondering if there would be group rides at chimney rock or any of the allamuchy parks? (North, deer and stephens)

Allamuchy and chimney rock. I love allamuchy but can't find my way around too well.
Follow this thread about Chimney Rock. Its a group ride on Wed. nights. Once you get the hang of CR and you think you can hang show up at CR for the Thursday night murder ride.

7 years later and I know allamuchy north like the back of my hand... all it takes is a year or two of going and getting horribly lost before you learn the whole park.
And some legs.
