help needed

We are brits who will be renting bikes from aaaa bike shop in atlantic city.
We were thinking of cycling back to our vacation home in clementon nj and would like any views of the best way to get there staying away from the major highways.We dont mind roads with single lanes just not the dual lane variety.

Hmmmm ... I went to school at Glassboro State now Rowan University and from what I remember , you would take Rt. 322 all the way into AC - it becomes the Black Horse Pike somewhere along the line but if you can get to 322 from Clementon that's the way to go . It's fairly bike friendly - cars do go up to 60 mph so be careful but you should be fine .

Avoid Pleasantville, that's an irony of a name.

Getting out of AC is a little crowded, but after that you should be ok as long as you take the scenic route. Use the map above to pick the best roads. There is some really ncie farm country along the way, and all flat as a board.
