hell of hunterdon

btw, when riding with a group, you can usually average much faster because you are more efficient .. last year, i averaged 19+ mph on 50 mile ride with a large group .. there's no way i'm coming close to that by myself

We'll see what happens.

I'll take whatever advantages I can get.

I'll introduce myself if I see you prior to the start...

:getsome:

thanks for the flattering pics ;-) and the fun ride! we should do this again in the summer super early one morning, it'd be amazin

Dirt roads r less fun in the summer, dust, braking bumps and washboard sections aplenty.

yah i'm thinking like 4am when the mildew/fog is rollin off all those farm fields the dusty roads will still be damp?

washboards are part of the fun i guess =P

idk what it was but i totally loved this ride - except for the flat, but that was a pinched tube not a puncture so i wasn't running enough PSI

Hey, that's me in Part 1, giving the camera guy grief on Lakeview Road for pointing his camera backwards. Who does that!?

Just in case you were curious I did this ride yesterday on my mountain bike and it's such a great ride. Just be aware that some of the dirt sections are fresh gravel and would be a bit rough on the road bike. Overall though great ride and I would much rather do it in the freezing cold than the scorching temps of yesterday.
