The Water Tower DH? needs a one way sign. Every trip down, someone is coming up for my last few rides. Maybe all the new work has made it too easy for people to climb.

I rode it mid week last week and sessioned it today doing 5 loops and only saw 2 people. 1 riding down .. and a guy walking a dog on the upper section .. but I’m always trying to look 100 feet ahead if there is anyone coming up … would be great if it was a 1 way downhill and no pedestrians … but it is a public park so I get it. I got spoiled in Vt where there are 1000s of trails that are mtb only.

Rode everything in both parks this morning. Conditions in Hartshorne are prime right now. I enjoyed the recent work done on the Water Tower flow trail.

Substantial tree across the trail on the western-most section of Many Log Run in Huber, just past the parking lot on Bowne Rd. The tree is at a pretty acute angle to the trail, so it’s gonna be pretty tricky for most to ride over.

Great conditions today and stayed cold so not getting too slick in the usual spots

Huge log across the trail in Huber where claypit connector ends as you go left onto valley view. Big log diagonally across the trail on many log run about 3/4 of the way through the loop going CCW.

Probably great. The little rain we had was little. Maybe some wet spots on rocky point.

Was all good except for all the berms on the water tower trail. Those are too soft to ride. Of course, now it's raining.
