It seems a bit weird to start the cat 1 at 11:00 and the cat 3 at 11:30 logistically. Won't this mean that the cat 1's doing three laps will have to pass through the entire cat 3 field?

I find it interesting, but I'm excited to see cat 1 start times a bit earlier.

Maybe it's a totally different course?

In the Mass series some of the endurance races run on the same course as the XC races and it seems to be a non issue. I remember at Granogue last year starting at I think it was 8:30 and riding through the different groups at various points in the day and it wasn't a big deal. Things spread out enough, and everyone has to go through the same traffic.
