I was just envisioning trying to explain what a great bargain a $600 wireless drivetrain upgrade is to someone who isn't immersed in this stuff. Such as my wife.

Shimano peasants rejoice, may the time have come? Update, SRAM just lowered the bar!

shouldnt be hard to do with the right group, but you would lose some seat post insertion depth (a cable from the actuator to the solenoid would have to be in the seat tube, along with the battery) Run an external dropper - mount on seat tube. I think the Archer components unit might do it.
