I would show you around but we have TM at Mercer tomorrow at 9. Please don't run us over...😀
We will be rebuilding the missing bridge on the blue trail.

Mercer is the best trail for beginners, I grew up riding there!

Hopefully someone else can show you around, Mercer is best with a local guide the first couple times. There is a lot of fun stuff, you just have to know how to link it all together.

Have fun!

Cool! be sure to stop and say hi. We will be around zone P7 on the map if you make it up to the North section of the blue trail 🙂

Well...we tried to find you guys 😀 but had some problems with the blue trail

according to the map I had it makes a loop, but after we went behind the boat house, we didnt know where to go. We headed up a trail but some hiker said it dead ended in a swamp. ???

so we just turned around and went back

we had a good time though and plan on going again...preferably with a guide

When you come out behind the boathouse you have to make a left onto the gravel road. Take that a short distance to south Post road. Make a right on South Post road. In approx 200 yrds you will see a dirt road on the right. Take that until the end and the Blue trail will continue towards the left. It does dead end at a swamp beyond where we put up the new bridge so you have to take the detour on the road for a short distance to get back to the east picnic area (highlighted in purple on the map) 🙂

is that the dirt road by the power lines? We saw that and saw no bike tire marks so figured it wasnt it. We did see a "road" in the woods but it just sort of dead ended soon also and didnt see the trail anywhere.

I guess someday you will just have to give us the grand tour 😀
