Anyone spent any time riding in Greenville SC? How were the trails and the scene?

It's been awhile since I was there...
Didn't mtb, but the Swamp Rabbit trail was a pretty neat rail trail that was really far and went right through the city. TONS of people on it, there were food stops catering to trail riders.
Great BBQ in the area.
Only other thing I could find were churches. I think I saw a church with a Starbucks in it.

Thx. Been meaning to check this area out. Probably will skip going to church; more interested in the church of dirt. Anyone else?
If you are willing to drive a little bit the FATS trail system south of there is really fun. There was a sick trail system I used to race at as a kid in Spartanburg, very close to Greenville, but I'm blanking on the name right now. That area has changed a lot since I lived down there, but I've heard from friends that there is a good scene.
