Going Long and Hard.

Too bad you weren’t around when this place was around. The were selling throwing stars to 7 year old back in the day . 201 area code but didn’t have to dial it

I bought many of throwing stars in my day from this place!!! You could buy just about anything that is probably illegal now from this flea market.
Also used to buy them from a store in the Livingston Mall. I forget the name of it.

There was packer's or Packard's or something like that in Hillsborough on 206 too. A little smaller but had all the same sketchy stands! My brother and I had all kinds of contraband from that place.

Since we’re being all about nostalgic about replica quality “stuff” that shouldn’t have been sold to kids...... if I say 007, what comes to mind?

True story. Surly is blowing these rims out at 50% off so I bought a pair to lace onto my spare I9s as a Trail/Summer/Short Track/SS wheelset.

I'm actually considering building the 100mm HEDs as my Winter set as they will only be ridden in Snow or Gravel. Not a weight weenie but they're 400 grams per rim lighter than the Nexties I was running. That would put my bike at 20 pounds with 5" tires. Also, I NEED the new Hydras!!

Is that your original Sworks frame?

Did Jim play video games? He might have been outside riding his bike. Or walking.

Swedish Pump maybe? It's either that or the shoe with a hollow heel...

..... I told you it wasn’t mine. ?

But no, it’s a impractical sized lock-blade knife with wooden scales with gold 007 stamped on one side. The super cheap construction was the hallmark of all the trinkets at these types of flee-market booths.

I can't give up the HED's for winter and sand, they are pretty sweet for that. But those wheels are making me want to spend money. The single speed is setup without a tensioner?

There used to be a knife show on very late at night where all of those clowns would buy their stock.....there are a couple of spoofs on you tube that get me to giggle pretty deep.
