Going Long and Hard.

Damn. I can't post a picture and write about it with my phone, that's ghetto. I think I finally worked out all the kinks in the Green Machine. Except the dropper. It's still on there, but I hate it.

The bike now has my patent-pending dingle-speed set-up on it. Just because I'm too lazy to switch cogs when I go somewhere else. 34x20 and 34x18. Werd.

Also as seen above, I dropped the travel down to 100mm. I haven't had a squishy fork in a long time and the 120 has been hard to get used to so, gone.

Man, I haven't finished building them yet!! I knew I was riding the 65s at Maple City so I put off the Winter Conversion.

if they last a week without you breaking them im gonna buy a pair for myself. i wanna go full 5" this winter but also be able to bomb shit like im on a 10" dh bike

They're light as balls. Lighter than my Marge Lites. And wide. That usually means ixnay on the ocksray.

Things are starting to pick up around here a little. Getting my ducks in a row. Starting to hit it a little harder, etc. Registered for JayP's Fat Pursuit so that'll kick my butt into gear.

I threw away my Chuck Norris Machine to make room for new gym stuff. Am looking for a Leg Press or Squat Rack if you know someone.

I sold the wheels off my bike so I actually had to finish my winter wheels. They are dope. Same weight as the Marge Lites I took off but 1 hundred millimeters wide.

HbEpic was on Saturday. Super fun day with a bunch of cool peeps. I've never done a road ride with a group like this and have it all stay together. We started with 15, we ended with 15.

It rained for the last 2 hours or so. Normally that would suck, but it was awesome. 148-Mile day for me because I also rode to the start in Cranford. Just over 8.5 hours.

Was a little tired for Jungle Jam so I only rode for an hour then hung out around the tents and hobknobbed.

MTBNJ 6-Mile Ride Saturday with I think everyone? Eric did a pretty good job setting the pace through the first half, he's finally coming into his own as a mountain biker. It's really nice to see. We can actually ride together now for real. I'm pretty sure by next season I won't be able to keep up with him anymore.

Broke out the fat bike for a leisurely 60-mile beach ride and then across Alaska. Although Alaska seems a lot smaller than I remember it. Took about 4 minutes to get used to being on the fatty again. 100mm rims FTW. That STANCE son!!
