So, would anyone be interested in bikepacking the Jersey Devil route for GFBD? Friday/Saturday. Maybe 125 miles Friday, 100 Saturday. Train back.
The official route is 171 miles. I guess you're planning to extend it with some D&R?

I'm down for it. Probably not up to it.
Could figure out a bailout option or 3rd day scenario if the legs quit.
Thinking...

Yeah. It starts in Trenton so I would ride to the start. It's only like 30ish miles from my house to the start. Then it's something like 35 miles of road before getting into gravel. Gravel is all pretty easy except for like 10 miles of really squidgy sand. I did it solo on a gravel bike with a broken pelvis so you should be fine.

This morning’s TT. High HR for the power so not the best result. Almost a minute behind 1st and maybe 12th overall so far this week. Last week I finished in 21/126. I’ve been about 2 minutes back off of the leader, which is a lot in a TT. I have until Sunday to make another go at it…

I've ridden a zillion hours of fixed gear on rollers, but it never occurred to me to put the fixed gear on a trainer.

It totally makes sense, now that I'm thinking about it.
