@Mumonkan I think this wager was flawed as Jim had control over what he rode them on. I will never wrapped my head around how people destroy stuff so quickly unless it was a faulty product.

so can those rims take less of a beating than you were hoping or just hit a surprise rock?

im ok with it, since fatbikes are kindof in a "ride whatever the hell you want" category

The tire was losing air because it was the first ride and the sealant was working it's magic. Got a little lower than I thought and I banged the fuck out of the rim. Dented it. Popped the bead of the tire and had a nice 8-mile walk back to the shop....

I hammered it right back out and it's been fine since. Actually I just forgot to put the little HED rubber washer thing on the valve and that's why it was losing air. I'm too busy to work on my own stuff so this was an uber rush job.

Hey, guess what? These wheels work a whole lot better when you have air in the tires!! I feel like the rims might be too light though still for what I'm looking for in a singletrack set-up. Tires are a winner though, super impressed with how well they do everything. Roll like a HuskerDu with the traction of a Dilli5.

yeah, its literally called uber rush which is why i linked it

friend of mine was doing it till his fiance got preggo. they give you the bag an iphone and battery and iirc they offer good rates for messengers

ive considered it more than once
