Going Long and Hard.

Better not be that freakin front bag again because I will personally go to his house when he gets back and toss it off an overpass on I95.

Conditions must be brutal if the pack is at 11.2 miles after 3:33! That's a long way to walk in the cold and the dark.

Oooops. My bad. 52 minutes moving time-I read the clock instead.

This "Tracker program" sucks! First is says this:

Then this:

Now he's doing fine! This is tough to keep track of!

Route must have changed due to conditions. The whole darn field seems to be off the red line.

EDIT: It kind of looks like the bikes went 1 route and the other disciplines went another route, but it appears they are coming back onto the route again soon.

i'm not sure that the route needs to be followed in this race. as long as you hit the check points.

so what i'm thinking is the raceflow software is trying to map their position on the ground to the proposed course.
it is probably using "closest point on course line" - which when deviating can stay the same for a long time, then suddenly change.
looking at the map legend, looks like 3 miles back.

sunset today is 6:21 - they are 5 hours behind us (i think)

overnight lows in the 20s.

if you go back a couple pages where jim posted the tracks on RWGPS you can see they all followed that course. i guess there was a change and noone told trackleaders

it took a while for the tracker to initially update he was moving, thank god its just the software!

they were really hauling ass for a while there, but theyre strung out now which probably sucks now that its getting dark up there

At mile 101, Looks like Jom is on first place for men (130 mile distance). He apparently made up a good chunk of time with a really short stop time at the last checkpoint.

Jim is doing awesome!
