Looks can be deceiving. The snowmobiles rip up the trail and make it ride like it's not groomed. It took us 1:30 to do 9 miles.

Gear Check and Registration complete. We went out to Dinner in West Yellowstone to peep the second Check Point. Just after the climb up to here we go over the Continental Divide. We also scouted bail points and got a basic lay of land just in case everything goes south. The time change and Evening start are going to be my biggest hurdles. The first 14 hours will be in the dark so I need to stay alert to avoid getting lost. This is the most excited and scared at the same time as I've ever been. It's very hard to rest even though I desperately need it.
