Ahh, hell. I watched the last 25k. Dunno. Reaaaaaaally not feeling it this year. Styby's awesome, and Cancellara's ever-green (read whatever you'd like into that) and it WAS a hell of a ride, but... KBK, same thing. Missed Omloop. I'm gonna see if I can find a copy of Armistead's win this morning.

Last week Sagan finally broke the curse of the world champ jersey and Lizzie Armistad is simply at another level than the other women. Great men's race today. Will we see a Flanders-Roubaix double out of Sagan? Given that he made the differnce on the climbs in every race this year, it probably isn't likely but he will for sure try.
 
Sigh. It was good. It was so fucking good. Despite my hating all the new doping revelations, Flanders was... Flanders. I almost found myself pulling for Cancellation. If you're want something more compelling than OJ's Bronco chase or a yule log, you can watch the whole thing here.
As to why Cancelled Check didn't catch Sagan, the explanation may lie here:

Poor Sep, seems like he is being crushed by the expectations. I was waiting for Cancellera to leave Sep and do it on his own. Sep was obviously cooked and the time always went up when he took the front in the chase. The way Cancellera was ridding by people on the last climb was craziness. Looks like it is time to tune into Schree--Pee--Diss right about now. Ooooo and it is raining....Slippy slide goes the sprinters.
 
So sprinty. 37k to go and gruppo compatto, only no one told those two continental guys. At least Sporza and Hola are playing well together.

All the big sprinting guns there today, which I think it the first time Cav, Kittel, Viviani, Sagan and Greipel will be all facing off together.
 
Holy cats! I hadn't looked at the start list. Sagan's busting ass up there for ? Still can't get over Farrar and Cav working together. Cav used to burp-barf when discussing him. Aaaand there's Sagan at the back. Hippie.
