Understood. I just think the response was a bit harsh. This...
"I rode Sunday, it was not nearly as muddy as I would of thought, after an hour and a half my bike as well as my gear had little to no mud on them."
... is a quote from you on this forum. All I did was change "yesterday" to "Sunday", and yes I rode this past Sunday. You actually said you thought it would be muddier that day but you rode anyway. So, now you're going to tell me how when you ride on wet trails it's different from when anyone else does? I'm calling BS.
Yeah, thanks CSI. God only knows what the weather was when I posted that, but after the past week we had snow melt, several days of rain, and a thaw. Most places were SATURATED!
As we have stated in previous posts, sometimes it is unavoidable that there will be mud in spots; it is part of the sport.
Riding in those conditions is bad enough. But to post a picture of the caked bike, then describing the trails as becoming torn up and blasting the equestrian community adds the cherry to the cake. As it was previously said, there are groups that would love to have bikes banned from the parks, and this type of this just adds fuel to the fire.
I think you are comparing apples to Big Macs. Maybe you should try your hand in politics (if you don’t already).
