French Creek confusion

Ok...what's going on here?

https://www.bikereg.com/Net/15570

Earlier in the week this race was on bikereg but the Enurance catagories were missing. I emailed the promoter about it...I didn't recieve a reply but the next day the race was pulled entirely fron bikereg. Now it's back, but not only are the endurance catagories still missing (it's listed on the MASS site as having them, as it always has) but it says registration is closed with no current registrants.

Anyone have any info on this?

Probably just working out bugs. Surprised it would even let you reg so early to be honest

Yeah, I wouldn't be too concerned -- there isn't a limit on the # of participants for French Creek. And even if it did, the enduro class there is usually smaller than many others because it's a rocky course and the race itself is longer than some ofthe other MASS enduros at 6 hours, so less people are inclined to sign up for that one. Keep your eye out for changes and you'll get in. And it's one of the few MASS races that has always had an enduro class, so I wouldn't be too concerned about that either. Bikereg re-designed portions of their site recently, so it might be related to that.

The update on the MASS site is correct. The event has changed promoters for this year and apologies for any confusion on BikeReg. We'll get the bugs sorted as soon as possible.

There will be a 4 hour endurance this year as well as the XC categories. The course will likely be shorter, less climby laps on some of the best trails that French Creek has to offer. Make no mistake though, there will still be plenty of climbing and badass singletrack. We're still ironing out the details at the moment, so please stay tuned. And 1speed is correct... there are no registration limits, so no worries about selling out.

Thanks Bill. If you guys at TBR are handling things, I'm sure it will be a great course and a great event.

Thanks for the vote of confidence! We're really stoked to be putting on French Creek this year and we're going to put a lot of effort into it. From day one of our team we wanted to put on a race there. A couple weeks ago the opportunity presented itself, so we jumped on it. In doing so, our race timeline just shrunk 2 and a half months! We're scrambling a little bit to get on schedule with permits and all the behind the scenes stuff that's needed but we should have everything under control in a week or two.
