I took my first singletrack ride today at Wharton and it kicked my butt. I need to get in better shape. Does anyone still ride there ? There haven't been any posts in quite a while.

Welcome to the Forum...

When you are out of shape, walking kicks your butt..😉

Welcome aboard,
I think that Wharton gets busy once it gets cold and the ground firms up...

My wife and I ride there most of the winter. We ride the big, red tandem. Say hi if you see us. Mostly ride the Mt Misery trail.

Anybody been on the 19mi orange trail yet? What kind of shape is it in? My last experience on it was being rescued by parks police late last november in the dark when it was 25degrees - I will be better prepared this year - I got lights!!

Riding Wharton

The Wharton TM crew will be starting work on October 3rd.

There are group rides scheduled for the Fall/Winter Riding season.
We also have some Friday night rides scheduled for JORBA members and riders who have come out for TM work days.

The Mt. Misery trail is in BB State Forest not in Wharton.
BB State Forest is off of Rt 70 and Rt 72.

The Wharton trails are out of Batsto Visitor Center parking lot off of Rt 542 near Hammonton.
