First time at LM today

Hi all, I'm new to the forum and new to LM. Been riding exclusively at 6 mile since I got into this sport about 6 weeks ago. Went with two buddy's to LM and thought it was very nice. Very different than 6mile since it doesn't have all the technical work but it's a nice workout with all the climbing. Was a great morning to ride with the temps around 50. Will be going back there for sure from time to time. Trying to get get to different spots in NJ before riding season ends. May want to try Hartshorne next as I heard great things about it.

We compare Hartshorne to Lewis Morris with perhaps a bit less climbing. If you like LM you should like Hartshorne. Also Clayton Park in Monmouth county is a mini Hartshorne IMHO.. All fun places to ride!

Try Chimney Rock. More Rocky sections to test your skills on. A bit less climbing than Lewis overall but still a really nice place to ride after the famous 6M introduction. Jungle Habitat if you really want some fun and rocky technical riding.

^This.

Johnnyrides: As much as Lew Mo is my "home" park (and glad you liked it!), I prefer Chimney....has a great mix of climbing, flow, and technical. Only 10 mins further away for me than Lew Mo. Park has six sections, well marked.

Unfortunately, Lew Mo's soil has few, if any, rocks. Makes up for it though with a fair amount of roots.😉

First off welcome our noobie friend and get hooked up to mahlon Kvsp deer park Stephens mooch north tourne split rock. So many places so close and so little time. Don't let old man winter scare you instead embrace him...

Mahlon Dickerson - its on the north end of Morris County, up Route 15 north. Kittatinny Valley State Park - over by Andover, NJ. PM me if interested and we can set something up.
