Not sure who builds and maintains the trail system up at Fayson Lakes but I owe them a beer.

Ride there for the first time today. Nice trails with a more mellow vibe for the area.

Nice work!
 
Where is Fayson Lakes trails, I didn't see it in TrailForks, I am looking for trails for an 8 year old to build up confidence on trails.

How far are you from dickerson mine? or the tourne? spent alot of time at those two places with my son from ages 5 on.

I do the gravel trails at the Tourne most weekends and add a little more challenge each time doing short parts of other sections, this Saturday just rode up the new trail that is just after the gravel trail which he did well, but needs to build confidence. I don't know why I have not gone to Dickerson Mine yet and was thinking that I will try to do so this weekend.

Main thing is I am trying to find more places to provide more variety. He loves to ride, but he is very cautious and needs to build confidence, which is fine he has only been riding for a year.
 
Theres also Lewis Morris which is pretty tame and a lot of nice new flow trails put in recently
