Experience with DT Swiss Tricon M1700 Wheels???

They're good wheels. The first batch of tricon wheels were a bitch because they used an unservicable thread locker which required each spoke nipple to be heated with a heat gun before it is turned. A simple wheel true could take 15 + minutes per wheel. The newer ones just use normal prolock so they are servicable like any other wheel.

Well, yeah.
But you need their Spoke Wrench and Bladed Spoke Holder.
I tried truing with the new Park SW-5 and all it did is twist the spoke and bugger up the nipple.
I'm dealing with a shop that is trying to get the tools and extra nipples/spokes from DT Swiss.
The wheels are still rideable and mostly true, but I want to replace the spoke and nipple just in case.

we have all the tools and some spokes/nipples. Kind of a risk selling a bike with those wheels and not being able to service them
