Estell Manor Conditions

Cleaned out east side of trail. Also think I cracked a rib. Fell onto down tree while making a sharp slow left hand turn. Feels like glass when I move but not bad when I inhale. So I think I’m good. No crepitus.

Also for the last two months are so, someone has been leaving pieces of paper towel attached to branches through out the park. Today some were held down with stones. Marking a route?? Anyone know what this is all about??

Spent an hour flattening out that above tree with an axe and brought in bigger deadfall to make a more stable ramp. Personally, I would like to see it gone.

Also, on centerline trail or as it is listed on trail forks, Estell Ridge trail, there is an enormous tree across the trail that needs to go as well. No other option but to have it removed. I tried to square that off as well but it is just to big. Thanks

What kinda axe?

This kind:

In the case of “axe” versus “ax,” “axe” is the preferred British spelling, while “ax” is technically the preferred American spelling. However, “axe” is still widely used in the United States and is still a correct way to spell the word.

Ha ha ha

Horse poop. 2nd time in the last two months. On singletrack on north side parallel to route 50.
Neat. Thankfully after the first pile I was careful not to Rail the corners cause that would be dangerous to the rider………..
But make sure you don’t startle the horses cause that could be dangerous to the rider 🙄
