I own a small electrical contracting company in Califon, NJ and we are looking to hire an experienced electrician. Here are some of the details:

Electrician - Residential and Light Commercial

Job Type: Part-time to full-time
$20-$30/hr based on experience

Evergreen Electric, Inc. specializes in wiring of homes and businesses including electrical services, renovations and additions, as well as maintenance and repairs. Located in Hunterdon county, we serve Hunterdon, Morris, Warren and Somerset counties. Our services range from small residential to light commercial work. We are a small, family owned business that has been serving our customers for over 45 years.

Job Requirements/qualifications:

Must have the following:

• Minimum 5 years residential/commercial electrical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent vocational or technical school certification.
• Adequate skills to perform required job functions with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and your own reliable transportation.
• Necessary hand tools to perform electrical work.
• Professional attitude and appearance.
• Great communication skills, be personable and friendly.
• Good troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Some experience in generator installations.
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
• Successfully pass pre-employment screening that includes background check, driving record, drug screening and employment verification.
