I'm always rambling about nonsense while riding bikes, but I never follow up with actual facts or links. In this thread I will try to remember to follow up. Or you remind me or correct my dumb ramblings.
 
Today I tried to explain Most Extreme Elimination Challenge
So just watch an episode. It's fantastic. I should look it up now that the internet exists but I always heard it was 2 americans stuck in Japan and they would watch this gameshow and smoke pot and overdub it, eventually they got a TV deal to do it as an actual TV show. So these guys have no idea what anyone is saying so they just make it all up.
The gameshow is completely ridiculous. It's like they held a gameshow at action park in 1992
 
We were also talking about someone being under the influence of amyl nitrates so I brought up "behind the candelabra" which I actually talked to @jShort about once at a chimney rock night ride. That was a fun one because I couldn't remember the actor's name and since we were riding bikes, I couldn't look it up. So for like 10 minutes I tried to remember Michael Douglass the old fashioned way. By naming terrible movies like Romancing the Stone and Basic Instinct

I stumbled on that most extreme challenge show about 10 yrs. ago. It was on at 5am when I went to work one Saturday morning. The one thing I remember was one of the guys always saying "Right you are Ken". I still use this line when soneone says something stupid funny.
 
Watched the video. Good stuff.

The Doritos page made me gloss over though. Maybe it's too early in the day.

It's not Kurt vonnegut, but i thought it was pretty interesting for a random wiki page about junk food.
 
How can that be?, ok maybe that pic because panorama, but lately every pic I post goes to file. It used to goto pic. My real camera posts pics but not my smartphone.
