Dickerson Mine Preserve Conditions

Went out for a trail run today, and still very wet in sections. Did the white loop clockwise with the blue loop added in. Ponding on Ol' Man Dickerson, and at the fork for the blue loop and several other sections near the beginning and end of the loop. It was an absolute river on the western side of the power lines (picture attached). I have to imagine the new trail, Creek trail, and yellow trail must be sloppy but didn't check.

@chainsawer if you’re around, there are a couple trees down at DMP. I can probably get there in a few days, so just let me know whether or not you’ll be over there. Thanks!

Had a NICA ride here this morning, the trails are pretty much hero dirt aside from the new trail off Red, go hit it!! Also ran into Norm today at the top or Marty's. So nice to see the sun and be outside riding today !!!

I've just been assuming it's a mess given all of the rain. Thanks for the update, I'll check it out!

We went fat biking Monday at 10:30am while it was still crisp outside. Near perfect fatbiking conditions. There's a 1.5' trough on almost every trail that's been beaten down by other bikers. A few slick icy spots here and there, but none of em wiped me out. By about noon things were softening up. I had some issues with snow clogging my SPD pedals but still managed a great ride.

We had a NICA ride on Sunday afternoon, thought we might get a little muddy after all that rain on Saturday. Much to everybody's surprise, the park was DRY !!! We rode just about 10 miles, didn't hit the new loop, and my bike came back clean !!! Hit it before the rain this week, it's currently hero dirt.

This park drains well and I think conditions will be rideable. Muddier on northern trails (ie the new red/green trails) but overall good.

Today I visited Dickerson Mine, starting from the Frank’s Street lot. I cleared the one pictured above on Red. And then I cleared everything on Green (thanks Stilluf for the reports). Those ones on green were no joke! I actually had to go back to my car for additional fuel, the first time I've ever blown thru what I carry on me. I then got one on the jeep trail (that parallels red), got a small one on Blue, and a few small ones on Marty’s trail.
