never heard of this before. checking it out today from bound brook but has anyone ever ridden on this before? is it rideable from brunswick all the way to trenton?

yes and yes. There might be a section or two closed at times, not too sure on that. I know the end near New Brunswick has some flooding problems. For a few years the trail surface was loose gravel (no thanks) but it seems like they are putting down a clay layer

Are you new to the area?

is it rideable from brunswick all the way to trenton?

Yes. I did it last year to go to the Mercer Cup race. I spend quite a bit of time in the sections from New Brunswick to 6-Mile Run (Blackwells Mills Road)...I've ridden it all the way up to Frenchtown...I'd like to take it all the way and see where it stops. They call it the D&R Canal up until Frenchtown, after that it keeps going but there's no map😀

I ride from Bordentown to Frenchtown on occassion, and took it maybe a mile further one time, the trail I was on ended. I saw another trail that split off to the right. How much further can you take it?

I hear tale it goes all the way up to the NY border. I haven't done it myself yet, but it's one of the rides I'd like to get in before summer ends. More than likely I'll ride from morning until it gets dark and then have someone come save me or take the train back home😀

You need to cross the river (maybe at Frenchtown) and go to the PA side where you can take it to Easton, PA. From there another path goes inland along another river (the Susquehanna?). I don't think it continues up the Delaware north of Easton.

But you could go inland and end up at Sal's maybe. Or some mtb trails not far away. So in theory you could ride mostly dirt from CR to another park in PA.

i started out after work and road till it got dark then back home with my gf & friend, she took a bunch of pictures so it took a while to get back and forth... the actual trail was all that red gravel stuff that was really smooth to ride on, def want to try going out on my own some more and see how i pace without others...
