Deer Park Conditions

of course i have shoes, i'll get out there and pack out rogue if ur lucky 😉
Got out with Ian tonight, wow was that a great night. We shoed the rest of white where my heal burst to yellow. Yellow had plenty of foot traffic so we cleaned it up nice. Parking lot trails had again plenty of foot traffic so left them alone. So we busted through birch and finished up at lake road. Blister the other heal so now good to go. Thanks Ian! Gonna shoot for tomorrow night but long day so we shall see. Fatties get out there this weekend!

Get out early enough it maybe possible. Not enough trail broken in to make it a destination IMO though unless your local. The outer white red rouge and blue need to be shoed yet. I will bring my bike and shoes this weekend and try to work them out.

Anybody get out on some of my packed trails? Unfortunately I ended up sick with some bird flu shit. Looks like I will be back doing it again this week...

I will go out early next week. Was traveling last week and today I rode part of the fat fifty course. Thank you for the trail work!

Tried this afternoon, but pulled the plug approx 1/2 in. We had three fatties and one fat guy on a skinny. No Bueno for any of us. The trails were groomed with XC skiers and shoe'ers, but once you veered off the 18" sweet spot you were toast. Could just not get any rhythm going.

So the shoes trails were good but the raw was no go? Was this early or latter in the day?

I also went for a quick ride this afternoon (3:15 ). Started on 1st parking lot in white. It was very good as snow was a bit more wet vs yesterday. Rode up to the point near the second gate, took left to continue on white but there was a tall wall of loose snow in between xc ski tracks that threw me of course all the time. Once of the track it was game over. Git tired and tracked back to the fire road and down to the lake. All good until i hit the side of the lake. Snow drifts with ski tracks got the best of me again so turned back, rode the fire rode to yellow, by the house, then over to the parking lot. All good except the off camber part after the rock garden, where I kept sliding down.
