Would nice to have a suite but not necessaryIn 1 room?
100% want to get a place with parking unless you take the train in. A mistake you only make once.Watch out for parking fees. When I stay there for work they often charge $50 a day to park.
Last time I was there I stayed in woodley park so I could do post work rides in rock creek park. I had no idea they change traffic directions at certain times to help with traffic and all of a sudden I had two lanes of traffic bearing down at me going the “wrong” way. I though the world had gone crazy.
Can confirm.I had no idea they change traffic directions at certain times to help with traffic and all of a sudden I had two lanes of traffic bearing down at me going the “wrong” way.
It's 4 strikes and you're out in DC?Also, there may be 4 of the same address. A mistake you can only make 3 times, because the 4th will have to be correct.
I second that, did the same but stayed in Arlington. Used Citi Bikes or whatever they have over there to go everywhere, it's flat as a pancake, unfortunately the closest bike station to our hotel was at the Georgetown Campus...the only climb in miles.Last time I was in DC was with my wife and her parents. We stayed just across the river in Alexandria, and it was a super short and easy metro ride. There are also city bikes and a paved bike path connecting Alexandria to DC. They took the metro and I rode a bike, which worked out very well.
