Dashcam advice

Looking for a few upgrades before the roads fill-up again post-Corona.

What dashcam do you have, and what's a minimum feature set, considering I need them for multiple vehicles?

I only ask because I'm looking for myself as well.

Poor mans dashcam on Amazon...
Aukey or Anker stuff seems pretty good

If you have gopros that have the loop feature that would work too

Curios about dashcams and how they seem popular especially in Asia and Eastern Europe...do you get insurance discount if you mount one?

I have a Garmin Dash Cam 56. It records location data along with video and audio. It can record events while parked if you install it with the parking mode cable. It can also be paired with a second dash cam facing rearward, if desired.

It's a little pricey but it has been really good.

A bit late, but I’m going with a Wolfbox smart mirror. New vehicle has limited rearward visibility, so this shows the rear camera view in the mirror display. Basic installation attaches to your existing mirror, but they have a mount in development to replace the factory mirror and mount.
